To troubleshoot issues with lag or delay in the camera's live stream, please follow these steps:
- Network Strength and Stability:
- Ensure the device is in a network environment with strong and stable signals. To test the network speed, download a speed test app on your phone and place it in the same location as the device. Check the upload and download speeds (ensure at least: upload ≥ 2 MB/s, download ≥ 2 MB/s or upload ≥ 16 Mbps, download ≥ 16 Mbps). Smart cameras require substantial upstream bandwidth; at least 4M upstream bandwidth (0.5MB/s, 4Mbps) for 1080p video quality. If cloud storage is enabled, an additional 2M upstream bandwidth is necessary. Confirm your network has sufficient bandwidth.
- Wi-Fi Signal Issues:
- Poor Wi-Fi signal due to obstacles such as several walls between the device and router, metal casing around the device, nearby metal objects, or interference from high-power electrical appliances like air conditioners or refrigerators.
- Distance from Router:
- Device may be too far from the router. In complex indoor environments, distances over 5 meters may result in offline issues; in open outdoor environments, distances over 10 meters may lead to offline problems.
Addressing these factors can help improve the responsiveness of the live stream. If issues persist, consult our support team for further assistance.
