Troubleshooting Guide for Camera's Motion Detection, Playback, Recording, and Video Upload Issues
Playback, Recording, Uploading to Cloud Storage and SD Card:
- Check Memory Card or Cloud Storage Subscription:
- Ensure you've inserted an SD card or purchased cloud storage service.
- SD Card Issues:
- If the camera has an SD card, try formatting it within the app. If formatting fails multiple times, your SD card's format might not be FAT32. Format the SD card to FAT32 using a computer. If it still can't be recognized, the SD card may be faulty; consider replacing it.
- Use a high-speed SD card compatible with your camera to ensure good video recording quality without noise, and to avoid issues like overheating that can stop recording.
- Enable Recording:
- After inserting the SD card, access Storage Settings in the device's settings page and activate the Recording Switch. The device will automatically record videos with options for Event Recording and Continuous Recording. You can view videos by clicking Playback on the camera interface.
- Cloud Storage and Motion Detection:
- After subscribing to cloud storage, enable motion detection. The camera will automatically record when motion is detected; view these recordings in the cloud storage section on the camera interface.
- App Recording Function:
- The Record feature within the app uses your phone's screen recording function, saving videos locally on your device instead of the SD card or cloud.
- Interrupted Playback:
- Non-continuous video playback may result from unstable network conditions causing the camera to pause recording. Once the network stabilizes, recording will resume.
- Firmware Issues:
- There could be a fault with your device's firmware. Provide the device ID to our support staff for the latest firmware update.
Motion Detection:
- Adjust Motion Detection Settings:
- From the app homepage, select the camera to be adjusted.
- Tap the settings button in the top right.
- Find and select Motion Detection.
- Adjust sensitivity levels to suit your requirements.
- Network Connection:
- If motion detection seems ineffective or delayed, it may indicate poor network connectivity affecting real-time communication between the camera and cloud server. Improve connection for optimal performance.
